PR services to Malta Guide Dogs Foundation

Malcolm J Naudi completed his first year offering PR services to the Malta Guide Dogs Foundation. The past year has been an eventful one for the foundation with such initiatives as:

  • organising the annual Christmas Party;
  • providing PR services for all events and the arrival of new guide dogs;
  • signing of a landmark sponsorship agreement with the Knights of Malta (SMOM);
  • handling MGDF's social media (Facebook) presence;
  • preparation of content for a new website;
  • exposure on TV;
  • exploring further sponsorship opportunities;
  • celebrating White Cane Day, in association with the Malta Society for the Blind, including a walk down Republic Street, a demonstration of independent living and a meeting with the President of Malta;
  • participation in the President's Charity Fun Run; and
  • MGDF support for the Pet Expo event at PAVI supermarket.

The Malta Guide Dogs Foundation is a registered NGO, whose aim is to offer services for Visually Impaired Persons. Most of the volunteers who work within the organisation have lost the sight themselves. Thus, they know the needs and difficulties of all those who use the MGDF’s services.  For once the blind are creating and maintaining a service for the blind!
